What is u3a?
u3a is a volunteer-led movement which is UK-wide. Sometimes known as ‘University of the Third Age’, it exists so that retired members of the community can share their skills and learn new skills.
There are lots of local groups and a whole range of activities on offer. u3a is not just about educational interests, but also social and creative interests.
We’ve linked their website below. If you want to find your local u3a group, click the ‘Join us’ tab for a searchable map.
