Stay safe and well
The new going out checklist
Shops, restaurants, theatres and museums – the world has opened up again at this point in the pandemic. However, to keep you protected there are a couple of extra items you need to check you have with you before you leave the house.
Even if you have had your COVID-19 vaccinations, you may want to wear a mask or a sunflower lanyard to encourage others to give you your space.
On this page you will find:
- a short animation about the kinds of things to remember to take with you when you leave the house
- a downloadable checklist that you can edit and print off for your own use
Restrictions haven’t been too onerous, I just have to remember the mask.

Getting ready to go out
In this animation, we look at those things you need to remember to take with you when leaving the house. While some of these have always been necessary – such as the house keys – the pandemic has added some new items to our going out checklist, such as a face mask:

Your personal checklist
Different people need to remember different things when heading out and about. We’ve created a downloadable checklist which you can edit for your own use.
- Take anything off the checklist which doesn’t apply to you.
- Add in any extra items you need to remember (such as reading glasses).
- Print it out.
- Stick it up by your back door to help you check you have all you need before heading out.
